In this session, Hinde Haa, SLP, IBCLC will share her unique perspective on supporting families who are struggling with tongue ties. In this session, you'll learn three ways to determine the need for further evaluation of oral ties by a qualified provider. Haa will also discuss the timeline for care, important considerations before referring for surgical release, factors that determine the need for tongue tie release (not all ties need to be released!), and finding a multidisciplinary team to best serve the infant.
